Fungi-tastic! Sautéed Lion's Mane mushrooms with Aeroponic Herbs

Are you looking for a delicious and unique recipe to try out? Look no further than these sautéed lions mane mushrooms with fresh herbs grown aeroponically. Not only is this dish packed with flavour & nutrients, but it also highlights the possibilities of growing your own produce at home with aeroponic technology.

Aeroponics is a method of growing plants in a closed, controlled environment where the roots are suspended in the air and misted with a nutrient-rich solution. This method allows for faster growth and a higher yield of produce compared to traditional soil-based gardening. In addition to providing fresh ingredients for your meals, aeroponic systems like the Tower Garden can also be used to grow mushrooms.

Mushrooms are not only a delicious addition to any dish, but they also play an important role in the aeroponic ecosystem. They produce enzymes that break down organic matter and provide energy to fuel the Tower Garden. This makes them an ideal companion plant to other aeroponically grown produce.

Have a look at our youtube video showing you how to do it: https://youtu.be/SgnP1fbeTLE

Now, let's get to the recipe!

Ingredients:

8 oz lions mane mushrooms, sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves of garlic, minced

2 tablespoons of fresh herbs (such as thyme, parsley, and chives)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

In a pan over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the sliced lions mane mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they start to release their moisture and brown.

Remove the pan from the heat and add the fresh herbs, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Serve the mushrooms hot as a side dish or as a topping for steak or fish.

This recipe is a great way to showcase the delicious possibilities of using fresh herbs and mushrooms grown aeroponically in your cooking. Not only it is delicious but also you are using the freshest, most nutrient-dense ingredients. Try it out for yourself and see the difference aeroponic-grown produce can make in your meals.
